Blackheath Fireworks night

So Fireworks Night has come around again.
This year Chris and I decided to have some of the guys round for a Chilli and drinks before heading off to Blackheath to watch the fireworks.
Upon pushing our way onto the first bus that arrived heading towards Blackheath it soon became apparent that this bus went all around the houses. The bus was jam packed with people and push-chairs all heading to Blackheath. Upon our was the bus driver was still stoping at bus-stops to try and let people on even though there was no room for them and that fact that the bus was obviously over its limits.
Incase your reading this and cannot understand why i am mooning. I HATE CROWDS and being compacted in this small bus unable to move full of people just put me out of my comfort zone.
It was when the bus came to a stop where oncoming traffic had blocked the road so that the buss could not pass. It was at this time we all decided to get off the bus and helped it pass the oncoming traffic before walking the rest of the way to see the fireworks.
Once we arrived at Blackheath the fireworks had just started. We stayed and watched the fireworks (Photos Below) and then headed off to the ‘Royal Standard’ for a pint to let the traffic die down.
After about an hour we decided to head back and walked to the bus stop. The first bus that came by, carried on as there was no room on the bus to let anyone else on. It was at this point i passed my keys onto Chris and said “ill meet you at home’.
The through of getting onto another fully loaded bus was enough for me an so i decided to walk home. In the 45 minute walk home not 1 bus passed me. when i arrived back home i called Chris and asked where they where, and to my sup prise they where still at the bus stop i left them at.
It took them another 45 minutes to get home in which time i had to sit in the pub and drink. It was because of them that i became very drunk as i had to drink to keep myself warm. Obviously…….
Anyway, Hope you enjoy the photos. These photos where taken by James Vanity and you can view his website by Clicking here.
