Wherever I travel I try and remember to take my camera with me.
I simply love capturing the moment but also enjoy taking my time and composing a more artistic shot. I get a great sense of enjoyment from taking the time to capture a great looking photo, and its fair to say not all photos come out how I would expect them to but thats the great part of it, learning how to capture that great looking photo next time.
There many different types of Photography styles out there,
You can see some of my artistic shots here under the 'My Digital Artwork' page.
Equipment I Use
When I'm out and about I tend to use my Samsung NV100 HD camera. Its small, light weight and compact and easy to put inside a pocket. It captures at 14.7 megapixels and give me the option to record video in 720p HD.
If I am going somewhere where I know I will want to take artistic shots I will use my Cannon 400D digital SLR. With this I shot my images in RAW format and download them onto my laptop for editing and processing. By using the Cannon I can use different filters and lenses for the shot I am trying to take.
The real strength of the TC-80N3 unit is that these modes can be combined – for example, the interval timer with the self-timer and exposure counter for time-lapse photography of flowers opening.
This remote release is very versatile. It is often used by photographers shooting after dark, where long exposures are essential, as well as by those who employ macro and time-lapse photography. When you don’t use some of the extra timer features, it can also be used simply as a remote release to fire the camera without touching the shutter button.
I have collected more tripods over the years than I have cameras. My personal favourite is my car tripod which will stick to glass and metal services vis a suction pad.
Using this i have been bake to do many time laps videos of nature time laps and driving time laps.
